Catskill Center for Conservation and Development
The Catskill Center encourages appropriate economic and cultural development consistent with conservation values, and through its integrated programs, works to build a strong constituency for the protection of the irreplaceable human and natural resources in the Catskills. We work through strategic partnerships with regional organizations, communities, and others, to effect positive change from the bottom up in the region.

Sierra Club of the Mid-Hudson
Our group of the national Sierra Club is spread out over both Ulster and Dutchess (and other) counties. We have over 2300 members, and we'd love to add you to our group.
Our group has many events; members lead hikes in the area year-round, and we have Speaker Socials in the spring and fall. They are free and open to the public, so we invite you to hear our speakers and to meet our members.
